Mr. Chad Marchino is entering his first year as Activities Director at Bethany, his 9th year total at Bethany, and his 27th year in education. Mr. Machino previously taught science at Bethany High School from 2017 to 2022 and has spent the past two years as Assistant Principal at Bethany High School. He was the football program’s offensive coordinator from 2017 to 2022, compiling a record of 55-17 and setting numerous program offensive records. Before coming to Bethany, Mr. Marchino had teaching and coaching stops at Cleveland High School, where he served as the school’s head football coach. Before his time at Cleveland, he spent the previous ten years at Yukon High School, most recently serving as Miller’s Defensive Coordinator and participating in a string of five straight playoff appearances from 2009 to 2013. Mr. Marchino is a 1989 graduate of Seiling High School in northwestern Oklahoma and played a vital role in the school’s 1989 State Football Championship run that year. Outside of school, Mr. Marchino enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, and watching his daughter play basketball. Coach Marchino and his wife, Stacey, have one daughter, Avery, a sophomore basketball player at Seward County Community College (Kansas), who was previously a key contributor to Bethany's back-to-back state titles in girls' basketball (2023 and 2024). Coach Marchino brings a wealth of experience to the Bethany Activities department and has a vision to lead Bethany Activities to even greater heights!
