Congratulations to our 8th grade volleyball team for winning the silver bracket in last week's OKC Storm tournament. They played six games over the course of ten hours on Friday, and beat the Wichita Defenders to bring home the trophy! This week’s Teacher Feature is on Mrs. Selena Kyer, who teaches 4th grade math for Bethany Elementary and is in her 4th year with the middle school softball program, two years as an assistant coach, and two years as the head coach of the Bronchos.
Mrs. Kyzer received her Bachelors degree in Education from SNU and her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from SWOSU. She has spent 11 of her 17 years in education right here in Bethany and we are so happy to have her as part of our middle school coaching staff!
Fun fact about Mrs. Kyzer: She is the Children’s Pastor at her church, and is currently taking courses to become ordained in the Church of the Nazarene!

Both the 7th and 8th grade football teams notched wins again this evening, beating Weatherford at home. 7th grade score: 24-22. 8th grade score: 36-0. Great job, Bronchos! The teams will play next on Monday, 9/15, at Jones.
The track is close to completion, but due to recent rains, we are not quite there yet .... as such, Thursday night's (9/11) middle school football games against Weatherford will be played at the SNU fields again. Game times are: 7th grade 6:30; 8th grade to follow at approx 8:00 pm. Hope to see you there, Broncho fans!

On Saturday, September 20th, Will Rogers World Airport is hosting its annual 'Girls in Aviation Day'.
This is a free event that is scheduled from 10 AM until 2 PM. A FREE lunch is also provided.
You do NOT have to be in aviation class to attend. All interested students are invited.
Again, this is entirely free, but advance registration IS required. If you would like to attend, see Coach Allen in Room N8 no later than Friday,
(September 5th).

Congratulations to Mrs. Wisniewski's Elevate class, winners of this year's 8th grade Broncho Games! The purple team had a shocking upset over the red team in tug of war to pull ahead for the lead and become this year's winners! Great job, Purple "Bust a Move" team!

Tonight is opening kickoff for the BMS football teams! Please make note: Both games will be held at SNU Stadium. Times were pushed back as follows: 7th grade starts at 7:00 pm; 8th grade will follow approx 8:15 pm. We hope to see you there!
