Current 6th and 7th grade girls: Mark your calendars now for tryouts for next year's middle school girls basketball teams!

Welcome to Physicals and Final Forms for the 2025-2026 school year! Athletic and marching band physicals will be given at the middle school on Tuesday, May 6th. The cost for the physical is $20. Suggested times to keep lines shorter are: HS Girls: 5:00 pm MS Girls: 5:20 pm MS Boys: 5:45 pm HS Boys: 6:00 pm You must be checked in by 7:00 pm to make sure you are able to get a physical. We are aware there is an orchestra concert that evening. So if your student is involved in that make sure they are in line at 5:00 pm. You can pay with cash, a check (payable to BPS) or online. Here is the link to purchase online https://bit.ly/bethanytickets If you purchase online you will get to skip one portion of the line. The OSSAA changed the physical form for this year. The one attached (coaches should have sent home a hard copy) is the one we need for next year. Hard copies can also be picked up in the HS and MS office. If you will have all pages completed EXCEPT the physical exam page prior to arriving this will also speed up the process. We will have copies on physical night but that will take more time. If your student wears contacts or glasses, make sure they wear them to physicals. This could save you a trip to get a physical clearance later due to poor eyesight. This year we are also going to have a room set up with computers so that parents new to the process can create their Final Forms accounts. If you already have an account you can update it there that night too. We will also have an interpreter to assist with setting up and updating Final Forms and filling out the physical form for our non-English speakers. Press that button before updating. image.png Also take photos of the 3 pages of the physical that you complete prior to getting the physical. At checkout this year we will have students take a photo of the physical examination page and also use an iPad to login into their Final Forms account and upload the entire physical. All incoming athletes and marching band members will have to have Final Forms completed and a current, cleared physical on file before practicing when the new season begins. This applies to next year's 7th-12th grade. If you have an incoming 6th grader sometimes they are allowed to participate in sports where we do not have enough participants. As of right now only MS softball has been approved to add 6th grade. Bethany Youth Football and Cheer you are welcome to get your physicals this night too. It's an exciting day here at BMS Yearbook ---- our 2025 book shipment has arrived!! We sold out of yearbooks two weeks ago and have a wait list already started; the good news is our publisher sent us an partial box of extra copies .... some years we get some, some years we don't ..... and we did this year! If you missed your chance to purchase before we sold out originally, this is your chance ..... books cannot be "held" but will be pre-sold first-come first-serve. Cost is $65 cash or check ($75 if you'd also like to purchase a ticket to the signing party on 5/13) and should be sent to the MS office. Thank you!

Final reminder! BMS Cheer tryouts for the 25-26 school year are taking place next week! Make sure your student gets a cheerpacket (available in the BMS office) by Friday and turns their name in to Coach Buxton, so she can get them information they need before tryouts ..... good luck, Broncho cheer!

If your student has medication in the nurse's office, please have a parent pick it up by the last day of school. All medications not picked up by 3pm on May 23rd, will be disposed of. Thank you!

We'd like to take a moment to congratulate our (last year's) 2024 BMS Yearbook Staff, who were notified today they received recognition in two categories of the 2024 Varsity Yearbooks Portfolio Showcase! Their 2024 BMS Yearbook was spotlighted in Outstanding Cover Design, and Outstanding Divider Pages ..... great job! This year's 2025 staff has worked hard all year to create a book every bit as good. Students who have pre-purchased can get their book a day early and attend a sneak-peek signing party on May 13th (3:15 - 4:15 pm) . Tickets ($10) include pizza, drinks, snacks, games, and prizes ..... and can be purchased May 5-May 9 in the MS office. Students who are unable to attend will receive their book during Broncho Time on May 14th. We hope to see you there! We can't wait to show off what we belive will be another award-winning publication!

Both the middle school and high school bands will perform their spring concert the evening of Friday, 5/2, for friends and families alike. All are invited to attend, and enjoy this evening of music, beginning at 6:30 pm in the Shellenberger Performing Arts Center. See you there!

Bethany Baseball Red Dirt Tryout Middle School Players Date: Monday, May 5 th Time: 5 pm – 7 pm Where: High school baseball field/Indoor Facility Cost to play: 200.00 per player There will be a Varsity and a Junior Varsity team. Each team will consist of 14-15 players. Season will run from the last week of May thru June 25 th . Players will play two double headers a week. Tryout is open to all current 6 th ,7 th , and 8 th grade players.
