Hey, Bronchos, it's time for our Spring Spirit Week here in the middle school, with theme days all week, culminating in our pep assembly next Friday, March 6th, where we will recognize our basketball, soccer, track, and baseball athletes! Make plans now to take part and earn points for your grade towards the coveted spirit stick! Monday kicks offthe week with the always popular, PJ Day!

Students, tomorrow is our last day of Random Acts of Kindness Month, but we hope you carry on with kindness, indefinitely!

In the meantime, make plans to recognize Peace, Love, and Kindness Day with your tie-dye shirts and accessories tomorrow!

Random Acts of Kindness Month is in full swing! This week our Compliment Box is set up at school, so students can leave a positive note of encouragement or compliment for a fellow student or teacher. We are moving "Dreaming of a Kinder World" PJ Day to Thursday this week to accommodate for a field trip. And next Thursday will be "Peace, Love and Tye-Die Day" for everyone. Our hope is these visual reminders help everyone remember to spread a little kindness not only in February, but all year long. Remember, in a world where you can be anything, be kind!

Shoutout to our amazing Crossing Guards! Tuesday, Feb 10th, is Crossing Guard Appreciation Day -- their dedication keeps our streets safe and our kids protected. Heat, cold, rain, and more, they are always there to ensure things are running smoothly!

Hey, BMS Students, this week is the high school spring sports recognition and the entire district is welcome to take part in dress up days. Our (BMS) spring sports spirit week and pep assembly will take place later (details coming!) but in the meantime, if you're looking for a good excuse to dress up (hats & pajamas, anyone?!) then here you go!

Students in Mrs. Will's Healthy Living classes were visited today by Kristin Rinke, a registered clinical dietitian with Bethany Children's Hospital. Mrs. Rinke spoke to the classes and fielded questions about diet, hydration and nutrition. We are so grateful for community members who are willing to partner with our school for the students!

Huge congratulations to our Bethany Middle School Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Paige Dillard! Mrs. Dillard teaches 6th grade and 7th grade math, and we are so grateful for the care, passion, and creativity she brings to her classroom every single day. We are very fortunate to have Mrs. Dillard in our school, seeing the potential in all of her students and helping them to not only suceed, but thrive! Congratulations, Mrs. Dillard!

BMS Yearbook is down to only 47 books left for pre-order. We cannot increase the size of our order so once all books are reserved, it will be too late if you haven't already purchased.

Also, 8th grade parents who bought a yearbook ad for your student ..... over 20 of you have not yet bought a book. We sent you an email earlier this week if you are one of those people who purchased an ad, but no book. Please do not wait to purchase, we will sell out and having an ad in the book does not guarantee you a copy. Please check to be sure and order asap.
