BHS Key Club is holding a donation drive this week to support the Hugs Project. The Hugs Project is a local organization that supports our active military overseas by sending them care packages of specific requested items. Check out the list of items we are collecting. Please take items to Mrs. Raney's classroom. Thank you for donating!

The freshman class enjoyed an informative and inspirational tour of the Oklahoma National Museum & Memorial.

🎉🧦 Socks for a Cause! 🧦🎉
We’re so proud of our Bethany High School Key Club and Bethany Middle School Builders Club for collecting an incredible 748 pairs of socks to donate to Citizens Caring for Children, helping kids in foster care stay warm this season.
That’s a huge jump from 432 pairs last year and 105 the year before — talk about amazing growth and generosity! 💜
A special shoutout to Key Club President, Sammi Jones, junior, for organizing this successful event and inspiring our students to make a difference in our community. 👏

The Pre-ACT is given to the sophomore class every year and it is a practice version of the ACT, which you will take later as Juniors. This test will help you get ready for the real ACT by exposing you to the types of questions, timing, and format you will see later.
Make sure to arrive on time and bring a calculator if you wish to use one. No. 2 pencils will be provided if you don't bring one. Phones and Smartwatches are not permissible in the testing environment and will be collected before testing begins.

Sophomore families! CV Tech day is Oct. 27th! Get ready to see all the cool things they can offer!

Broncho football fans - please make note of the game change from Friday night to Thursday! Details below!

Senior casual photos are October 30th! Seniors should come to school dressed in the clothes that they want to wear for these photos. These will go in the yearbook. All outfits should be school-appropriate. See Ms. Martinez or Ms. Harris for questions!
Looking for an unforgettable fall weekend?! Saturday night head over the Bethany's Fall Fest on College street!! It's free for everyone! Then grab your tickets and head over to the Foundation's Mummy & Son dance at the HS gym!

🌟 Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future 🌟
We are incredibly proud to recognize one of our senior students, Cooper Moore, for completing a meaningful and heartfelt Eagle Scout project that will serve our community for years to come.
As part of his journey to Eagle Scout, Cooper designed and built a beautiful park bench, now placed prominently in front of the school by the flagpole. More than just a place to sit, this bench stands as a lasting tribute to two members of our school family who left us far too soon in 2024: Mrs. Helene Carson, a beloved teacher, and Caleb Thomas, a fellow student who would have also graduated with the Class of 2026.
A plaque on the bench reads:
"In Memory of Helene Carson and Caleb Thomas"
— a quiet but powerful reminder of their impact on our lives and in our halls.
Thank you, Cooper, for your leadership, craftsmanship, and compassion. Your project not only honors their memory but also reflects the very best of what it means to be a Broncho, a Scout, and a member of this community. 💜

Enjoy your fall break! We will see you next Tuesday!

Reminder: Mid-terms continue tomorrow! Classes begin at 8am (NO LATE START). Students who do not have make-up exams will be dismissed after 5th hour.

Just a friendly reminder, completed FAFSA forms, or submitting an opt out form, are a graduation requirement.

This week, BHS had 7 students to participate in Math Day at OSU in Stillwater, sponsored by the OSU Department of Mathematics. Students had the opportunity to take tours, discuss potential math-related majors and careers, experience college life at the student union, and compete in a multi-level math text with over 200 high school students from across the state.

Congratulations to these students who made the COCDA Honor Choir!!

Senior Parent meeting next Monday, Oct 13 at 6:45.

Mrs. Pace hosted a spooky book lunch to highlight all of her new suspense and spooky books! Drop by the library and get a spooky read for October!

Congratulations to junior Nicholas Feddersen for earning his Eagle Scout rank! Nicholas is with the Boy Scouts of America Troop 569. His Eagle Scout project was a Flag Retirement Box, which is located in the Bethany Fire Station. It is for the community to drop off flags which need to be retired. The Eagle Scout Court of Honor ceremony was held this past weekend. This is an impressive accomplishment. Way to go, Nicholas!

Conference Nights are next week!
