Sock puppets were used as the mode of communication as students in Spanish class practiced introducing themselves and having conversations with classmates that they had written first in Spanish. Then, students video- recorded their conversations for review. Spanish is taught by Senora Jennifer Buxton.

Students in sixth grade science class displayed and presented their "Layers of the Earth" projects today for science teacher Mr. Rinke and classmates.

Huge CONGRATULATIONS to our Bethany Middle School Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Lauren Toler! Mrs. Toler has been a teacher at Bethany Public Schools for 15 years, teaching 1st and 2nd grade previously, before bringing her experience and enthusiasm to the middle school. She is now a vital part of our sixth grade team, teaching Western Geography. Mrs. Toler says her favorite thing about working with middle school-aged students is the meaningful relationships she is able to build with them. She loves when they stop by throughout the day to tell her things that are on their minds or that are important to them. She loves hearing all they have to say! We are so glad you are a part of our middle school team, Mrs. Toler -- congratulations on this well-deserved award!

No after school tutoring on Tuesday, Feb 18, due to parent-teacher conferences. All other times/dates available as posted here. Tutoring is a great opportunity for extra help, or quiet time with a teacher to get caught up on any late or missing work that students might have. Thank you!

Reminder, TOMORROW night is our Sonic fundraiser night for Bethany Middle School! Thank you in advance for your support of our school and students by taking part if you are able!
