Members of the SNU football team came to the BMS fields after their practice last night to cheer for the 7th grade football team as they battled Jones. Thank you, Crimson Storm, for your support!
There will be an Indian Ed meeting Wednesday after school for all interested students. Projects and snacks included; meet in the elementary cafeteria at 3:15 pm.

Congratulations to Merit Selsor and Brayden Escoe, winners of the summer reading Bingo challenge set by media specialist Ashleigh Dautermann. Merit was our student winner and Ms. Escoe was our staff winner. Both were rewarded with gift cards from the library!
A big thank you to our Teachers Pets group, for providing lunch to our staff today .... we certainly appreciate the support .... and the sandwiches ... and desserts!!
Today was Jersey Day in the middle school for Spirit Week; lots of student involvement! We will finish the week tomorrow with Broncho Spirit Day, and a pep assembly during 7th hour. Parents, if you plan to attend the pep assembly, you will need to enter through the HS office to get to the gym. Please sit on the top row of the home side (our students fill up the majority of these sections) or sit on the visitor side. The pep assembly should last from 2:15 pm until 3:00 pm. Thank you!

On Saturday, September 21st, Wiley Post Airport is hosting its annual 'Girls in Aviation Day'.
This is a free event that is scheduled from 10 AM until 2 PM. A FREE lunch is also provided.

Sixth grade science students took part this week in a "thermal energy lab"; a scientific laboratory where experiments are conducted to study the transfer and behavior of heat energy. Sixth grade science is taught by Mr. Cole Rinke.
Our middle school students are celebrating our fall sports during Spirit Week with special theme days. Today's day ..... BBQ Dads vs. Soccer Moms ... we had lots of each! Tomorrow is Dress as Your Favorite Holiday Day!

Congratulations to our 7th grade Broncho football team, playing their opening game of the season and earning their first BPS career win! The Bronchos beat the Celtic Catholic Youth Organization (a feeder program for Catholic schools in Oklahoma) by a score of 28-6; great job, Bronchos! Way to start the season, and your "official" football stretch at Bethany!

The first Indian Education meeting of the year will take place tomorrow, 9/4, after school in the elementary cafeteria. ALL students are invited to attend; there is always a project or activity, and snacks are included. Hope to see you there!

The first NJHS meeting of the year will take place tomorrow, 9/4, during Broncho Time. NJHS invitations were sent to eligible students last week. Thank you!

Reminder, picture day is tomorrow! Purchase is optional (extra order forms available in the office) but all students will have their photo taken for infinite campus and yearbook.

Our first Builders Club meeting of the year will take place Wednesday, 8/28, from 3:00 until 3:45 in Room 10. Builders Club is the middle school version of Kiwanis (or "K" club) a service-oriented organization open to all BMS students.
