
In honor of Election Day in the US, students in Mrs. Toler's sixth grade Geography class took part in an Electoral Escape Room of the Oval Office of Presidental Candidates. This escape room was designed by Mr. Toler, eighth grade US History teacher, and involved the students attempting to escape the Oval Office by answering questions about the presidential campaign and election.

Members of the 6th grade Orchestra class got into the Halloween spirit by costuming their instruments with holiday hats yesterday! Orchestra is working hard, getting ready for their fall concert, taking place on November 12th, in the PAC at 7pm.

We've had lots of funny and creative Halloween costumes today for our Red Ribbon Week "Be Sparkly, Not Spooky" theme day, but one of the best is Mr. Toler, 8th grade History teacher, and his group of student Presidents!


Parents, this is the current state of our unclaimed water bottle spot in lost and found. Please take a peek and if any of these water bottles belong to your student, remind them to pick them up on Friday and take them home. Thanks!

The Young Eagles flights offer free opportunities for students ages 8-17 around Oklahoma at least once per month in our area. Middle school students are encouraged to participate in your aviation programs.
The next nearest event in November is still open for registration : Nov 2nd in Haskell, Oklahoma

The Day of the Dead (el Día de los Muertos), is a Mexican holiday where families welcome back the souls of their deceased relatives for a brief reunion that includes food, drink and celebration. The middle school office staff got to recognize el Dia de los Muertos today with first grade students and multi-lingual staff, who brought art projects and pastries to share!


Parents, if your son or daughter signed up to play soccer, mark your calendar for the tryout dates and parent meeting! We will send location information as soon as we have it. Go, Bronchos!


Elementary and middle school students marked the beginning of Red Ribbon Week today by wearing red for "Roll Out the Red Carpet" during "Shine Like the Stars" week. Students received red ribbons and prizes were awarded through a drawing. Tomorrow's theme day is "Shine Like a Star" day and students are encouraged to wear neon, metallic or glow in the dark for awareness! (photo provided by L Dickerson.)

Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco, smoking, and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October in the United States. We will be having the following theme days this week to mark the event.


Today was our final day of Broncho Games; sixth grade took part today. Congratulations to Mrs. Morris' Broncho Time class for walking away with the championship trophy!
